I started surfseek to share my passion and knowledge of surf travel with you all. Since the age of 13, I have been surfing and competing against the world’s best surfers in some of the world’s best waves.
My travels over the last 25 years have taken me from my little home on the South Coast of N.S.W, Australia, to over 40+ countries worldwide and counting.
I have had many highlights in my career, winning Australian titles, coming 5th on the ASP ( no known as the WSL) world Tour in 2005, numerous wins and finals, and beating some of the best surfers in the world including Kelly Slater, Mick Fanning and Andy Irons.
The biggest highlight how ever was being able to travel the world, surfing the best waves, exploring new countries and cultures, and meeting new friends.
That feeling of surfing a new wave for the first time, having a beer with your friends after a day surfing perfect waves in the Mentawai’s, watching the sunset over Pipe in Hawaii, or taking the subway to surf Long Beach in New York on a snowy day, these are always my fondest memories.
Over my years of traveling I have made many great friends who share the same passion and love of surfing and travel. Some I have grown up with, some I have meet while competing, others are new friends I have meet on my journey. Surfseek is a blend of our stories, experiences and knowledge.
If you’re just starting out or if you’ve been surfing your whole life, I hope this becomes a place where you can learn new things, meet new people and plan your perfect surf trip!
